Let your pet shine! If you have a cute, adorable, funny, or just plain lovable pet we want to see them. Enter the first ever FOX 47 Cutest Pet Contest!
UPDATE TWO - Monday, April 4: Great job everybody! 396 pets were entered - and nearly all of them were "cute"! Everybody followed voting rules - no funny business took place. Just two of the Top 24 were cats - all the others were dogs. So do we say dogs rule?! Voting is over so take a rest. But watch FOX 47 News Tuesday night to see who our Cutest Pet winner for 2011 is. The top pet won by a landslide but second through sixth place pets were very close in numbers.
UPDATE ONE - Friday, March 18: The fun begins! It's VOTING time! Go to it. Get everybody you know to vote for your cute, adorable pet. Set your alarm so you don't miss a day. Voting is allowed ONCE a DAY. Pets can still be entered until Monday, March 28th. Have fun!
How does the contest work?
It's easy and FREE to enter!
1.) Enter each pet separately.
2.) Snap a photo of your pet. The photo can not include people in it.
3.) Upload the photo by clicking on the "Submission" tab above.
4.) Make sure to get ALL your friends and family to vote - because the pet with the most votes will win! There will be two rounds of voting. Voting will begin Friday, March 18th at noon. Everybody can vote ONCE A DAY ... so make sure you come back and keep voting daily.
5.) On Monday, March 28th Round Two begins. The top 24 pets with the most votes will enter the winners round!
6.) The pet who has the most votes in Round Two will become the first ever FOX 47 Cutest Pet and will be announced on Tuesday, April 5th during FOX 47 News at 9pm.
What are the prizes?
The pet with the most votes receives a $100 gift card from Fish & Pets in Rochester ... $280 in coupons from The Nutro Company ... AND will be featured in a FOX 47 commercial for two weeks!
The first runnerup gets $210 in coupons from The Nutro Company ... and the second runnerup pet receives $70 in coupons from The Nutro Company.
